A) Should of come with soft ware check the box , if none included go online and down load . your computer should have software installed for down loading

Do i have to use certain kodak batteries for my Kodak Z1275 digital camera?

A) You need NiMH (rechargeable) batteries or Lithium ion (non-rechargeable) batteries. Don't mix the types together. They don't need to be made by Kodak. You cannot use alkaline batteries, which are one of the more common types. If your first set of batteries didn't work, maybe they were alkaline, or maybe they were dead to begin with, or maybe you inadvertently reversed the polarity?

A) No, I have a HP digital camera, but have used a different memory card. http://www.mymemory.co.uk/ I got mine from here and they are very reasonable. You can look up your make of camera and then it will tell you which cards are compatible.

What does "Factory Reconditioned" on a Kodak camera box mean?

Q) My daughter brought a kodak digital camera from a shop on ebay, and we are quite happy with it. The write-up certainly seemed to imply it was new and it did come in sealed packaging. However the box it was packaged in has "Kodak Factory Reconditioned " written on it. Does this mean it is not new?

A) Camera was returned to store for various reasons then sent to manufacturer to refurbish & make salable. This is much like a "Certified Preowned" car from a dealer. Warranties are usually valid but be sure to check.

Kodak digital camera not showing in 'my computer'?

Q) I've recently updated my kodak software, and since then the camera has not shown up in 'my computer', which is incredibly annoying, as it only shows up in the kodak software, and only transfers when the software is running. I've got it us as a digital still camera in my computer, however I can't edit the images doing it this way, (I used to edit them, put them back on my camera and print them on the dock), but I can't do this anymore. Does anyone know how I can get it to show up in my computer, and so I can edit it directly from there? Thanks I've heard this happens with Kodak, but there's ways round it

A) buy a card reader. It plugs into your USB port on your computer, so you don't need the camera or software or a USB cable to transfer your images. This is how the pros do it because it's way easier. You don't use batteries and you don't have to use your camera and hook everything up. try it out. they're 10-12 dollars.

Some of my choices include: Kodak Easyshare V1273, Kodak Easyshare V1073, Or the Kodak Easyshare M883. A) Why Kodak? It's not a good brand for "Cameras" believe me. I'd suggest to go through some reviews before you make your decision. My favorite site for this is: www.dpreview.com (You may need to know the basic elements in digital photography to make a good choice) Finally, I'd go for Sony, Canon, Olympus, or Panasonic. A) I love kodak digital cameras -- you can find them on ebay. I have the 3 -yr old DX6340 and even though only 3.2 mp is a fantastic camera and still taking beautiful pics, they should be under $100 on ebay now.

A) Just go to the Kodak website and look for the update. The instructions will be with the new firmware file. That was easy.

Kodak has a Familiar Name That Helps it Stay a Top Brand and that is why i got one because they have such good reputation most photo stores use their paper and my brother has one that is fine. I had a Cannon which is excellent. Most people like Nikon because of their looks. * The best thing to do is try out the feel of the name brand cameras and ease to reach buttons and hopefully on sale and with some of these features below and pick the one you like and do not necessarily choose Kodak unless it meets all of those requirements. - Get at least mid-priced one for image stabilizer to not have blurry pictures and high resolution jpeg mega pixels to be able to print larger sizes. - Get a SD (Secure Digital) Card that stores lots of images like: SunDisk 512 MB * I got the model EASY SHARE DX7590 because it has a Feature to Shoot Video.
